Paul Pape has studied screenwriting over the years with both Syd Fields and Robert McKee, both in their workshops. His first screenplay, “Open Doors”, was optioned and, in 1985, “A Life Of Roses”, which Paul co-wrote and directed, was given the Best Picture Award at a film festival sponsored by the National Association of Local Cable Programmers. He served for a time as a copywriter in the ad business, working for blue chips clients such as Hills Bros., Mervyn’s, Carnation, Jack In The Box, Dep beauty products and Bally’s Health and Tennis.  In early 2006, “Interrogation” (which Red Wall produced) won Special Jury Awards for both writing and film excellence at the 168 Film Festival. Paul shares those awards with co-writer and fellow producer, Don LaFontaine.
