Premiering in 1977, “Saturday Night Fever” went on to become not just a hit film but a social phenomena as well, earning itself a lasting place in America ’s cultural legacy. Not unlike “Easy Rider” in the 60’s or “Rebel Without A Cause” in the 50’s, “Fever” would strike a profoundly resonating chord with the generation that came of age in the 1970’s. Co-starring as Double J, Paul Pape made his debut in this film and, to this day, is proud to have been part of this piece of film history.
